• Auto Composite Rating Plan: This program is designed for larger fleets. It allows United Fire to calculate one rate that will be charged for each vehicle in a specific vehicle class, which means less paperwork and fewer hassles for you, our policyholder.
• Business Auto Ultra: This add-on coverage is designed to offer high-value protection at a low cost by broadening the coverage provided by our business auto policy. Some of the coverages included in our Business Auto Ultra endorsement include towing and labor; rental reimbursement and additional transportation expense; personal effects coverage for certain personal effects when a covered auto is stolen; employees as insured (covers individual liability of employees using their own autos); automatic additional insured when required by contract or agreement; and physical damage coverage for hired, leased, rented or borrowed autos.

• Spoilage coverage: This type of add-on coverage isn’t just for restaurants. Spoilage coverage can help cover lost revenue should your business lose perishable products due to covered causes of loss, such as power outages or the breakdown of coolers and refrigerators.

  • Additional and Extended Coverages include lock replacement, business income and extra expense, property in transit, fine arts, employee theft, forgery or alteration, and security breach/identity theft.
  • Increased coverage limits include debris removal, electronic data, valuable papers and records, fire department service charge, and personal effects and property of others.
• Contractors Property Plus: This add-on coverage provides increased coverage for fire department service charge, pollution cleanup, newly acquired property, valuable papers, signs, outdoor property, accounts receivable, fire extinguisher recharge, data processing, and lock replacement.
• Equipment Breakdown: You can enhance your policy to cover the cost to repair or replace mechanical, electrical or pressure systems that suffer a breakdown. Some of the types of equipment covered are air conditioning systems, boilers, computers, electrical systems and refrigeration units.
  Some costs your business may accrue due to a piece of equipment breaking down are also covered. These costs include coverage for business income, data restoration, service interruption, demolition and increased costs of construction, refrigerant contamination and perishable goods.
• Restaurant Property Plus: Designed especially for restaurant owners, this add-on offers a variety of specialty coverages, such as spoilage, food contamination, employee theft and outdoor signs.
• Winery Plus: From vineyard to tabletop, we can ensure a vintner’s peace of mind by enhancing the commercial property policy with our Winery Plus endorsement. This additional coverage protects employees, buildings, equipment and, of course, wine.
