Liberty Mutual homeowners insurance coverage protects your home and other structures on your property—like a garage or tool shed—against loss from many things, including, but not
limited to:- Smoke, fire or lightning
- Windstorm, hail or weight of ice, snow or sleet
- Theft or vandalism
- Falling objects
- Freezing of a plumbing, heating, air conditioning or automatic fire-sprinkler system, or of a household appliance
Personal Possessions
If your personal possessions—including furniture, clothing and appliances—are damaged or lost as a result of a covered loss, we’ll arrange for them to be repaired or replaced. Policy limits, terms and conditions apply.
Additional Living Expense
If your home is unlivable due to a covered loss, we'll cover the additional necessary expenses you incur, up to the limits stated in your policy, to live elsewhere, enabling your family to maintain its normal standard of living.
Home Protector Plus™
If you want expanded coverage and additional benefits—including additional coverage for unforeseen costs when rebuilding your home or replacing personal property—you should consider adding this coverage.
Extra Coverage for Valuables
If you own certain high-value items, such as jewelry, art or camera equipment, you should consider adding this coverage.
Liability
If someone is accidentally injured or has property damaged while on your premises, Liberty Mutual will defend any claims against you and pay those claims up to your policy limits. We’ll also pay for reasonable and necessary medical expenses up to the limit you purchased, regardless of who was at fault.
Inflation Protection
If you purchase Inflation Protection Coverage at an additional cost, Liberty Mutual will automatically adjust your policy limits to keep pace with inflation - and you will receive a discount on your policy premium. - Home Insurance Benefits

Manage Your Policy Online-- Register for our online services and log in to view your convenient billing options and set up a payment schedule through automatic deductions. You can make a one-time payment, or choose to pay monthly, quarterly or in one lump sum.
You can also view policy information, make changes to your policies, set up paperless delivery of your documents and report or check on a claim.

Insured to Value Discount—When you insure up to 100% of the cost to replace your home (usually different from the market value or selling price), you may receive a discount.
Claims Free Discount—You'll save on a new home policy if you have not filed a claim with your previous insurance carrier for five years or more.
Early Shopper Discount—Save on your home insurance when you request a quote before your current policy's start date or expiration with another carrier.

When you need to report a claim, you can call or click 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1-800-2CLAIMS (800-225-2467).
CNRP — Contractor Network Referral Program*
Your Claim Handler can provide you with information on approved vendors established by Liberty Mutual to provide customers with competent, reliable, contractors to perform building repairs related to an insured loss. You are under no obligation to use the services of the CNRP contractor. However, if you do, Liberty Mutual will guarantee the workmanship performed by the CNRP for one year. Subject to policy provisions, the only cost to you will be your deductible and any non-recoverable depreciation.

Temporary Living ExpenseIf your home is unsafe or damage is so extensive that you cannot live there, your Claim Handler can assist you in locating temporary housing and advise you on your policy coverage for additional living expenses. Your Claim Handler can also offer you an advance against the total settlement amount of your claim for clothing or other immediate necessities.
24-Hour Homeowner Emergency Repair Service
If you have a covered loss and your property needs to be protected from further damage, Liberty Mutual can dispatch someone to your home to take care of the situation. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Personal Property Replacement ServiceNormally, you'd have to find individual replacements and arrange for shipping and handling on your own. With this service, one phone call sets the process in motion. Drawing from a database of more than 400,000 items, we can locate the exact items you lost - or the closest match - and ship them to you within 48 hours.
Catastrophe TeamLiberty Mutual's catastrophe team provides an immediate assessment of damages and appraisal resources to you when you need it most. - The descriptions of coverages listed on this web site are necessarily brief and are subject to the provisions, limitations, and exclusions that can only be expressed in the policy and related endorsements.
